Bilateral Relations: Slovakia keen to boost economic cooperation with Albania

Slovak Foreign Minister Jan Kubis yesterday told his visiting Albanian counterpart Lutzim Basha, that Slovakia would like to greatly increase cooperation with Albania - especially in the economic sector.

"We must do much more to get our bilateral relations to an adequate level," Kubis said.

He also expressed his hope that Albania would succeed in joining the European Union after NATO invited Albania to start talks on joining the alliance.
