Bilateral Relations: Iran and Finland sign MoU on scientific and research cooperation

The chiefs of Iranian and Finnish geology organizations on Tuesday inked a memorandum of understanding on mutual scientific and research cooperation.

The two sides' geology organizations will cooperate in various fields including data analysis, exploration, petrology and training.

Referring to the designation of 2008 as Year of Planet Earth, Mohammad Taghi Korehi said that the Earth needs to be protected by all nations and governments living on it.

Furthermore, all geology organizations around the world should enhance their cooperation in achieving their geological objectives, he added.
