Bilateral Cooperation: Iran and Indonesia discuss replacing western laws with Islamic laws

IRNA reports that Iran and Indonesian prosecutors general, have discussed judicial and legal cooperation between the two countries.

Iran's Prosecutor General Qorbanali Dorri Najafabadi, who is visiting Indonesia at the head of a delegation, met with his Indonesian counterpart Supanchi in Jakarta on Wednesday.

In the meeting, the two sides considered bilateral cooperation in the fields of judicial and legal affairs and expressed desire on exchanging judges and judiciary experts between the two countries.

The prosecutors general expressed hope that Islamic laws can be formed by efforts of the Islamic countries so that they can replace western laws.
