Art: Sumerian "Mona Lisa" recovered in Iraq

A famous work of art known among archaeologists as the Sumerian Mona Lisa, has been recovered in Iraq.

The long lost 'Sayedat Al Warkaa', a Sumerian 20cm facial carving more than 5,000 years old was found in a garden after the police and occupation forces received a report.

Arabic daily Al Khaleej reported the marble statute was found buried in the shallow mud and totally unharmed.
