Sri Lanka: LTTE base bombed as youths are found hacked to death by LTTE terrorists

Sri Lanka Air Force fighter jets bombed an LTTE transport base located in Kilinochchi area this morning, the military said.

Air Force spokesperson Wing Commander Andy Wijesooriya said the air sorties were conducted this morning targeting the LTTE base following intelligence gathered extensively for a long time. The target was hit accurately, he added.

In related news, police have found the bodies of numerous youths dumped in a swamp at Kiriketuwewa on the Horoupathana. The victims were reportedly hacked to death by LTTE terrorists.
