Bilateral Relations: Syrian and Kazakhstan strengthen ties

Kazakhstan President Nursultan A. Nazarbayev is due to arrive in Damascus on Monday on a three-day official visit to Syria during which he would hold talks with President Bashar al-Assad and senior officials.

President Nazarbayev would also sign several political, economic and culture agreements during this visit.

The Syrian –Kazakhstan ties have witnessed tangible development over the past period, as the two sides signed a number of agreements in different domains covering industry, trade, transportation, and culture, an official report said.

The upcoming visit of President Nazarbayev to Damascus will push these relations forwards and open new aspects of cooperation in the interests of the two peoples and countries.
