"Finding Truth - Leaving no grub untouched" Day 34

Woke up, had a fag, had coffee, had another fag. Worked out a plan to come across as an arrogant, ungrateful prat so I can get the British press on my side. Paid a visit to Gerry's blog to pick up a few tips. Had another fag. I always need one after visiting Gerry's Lifestyle Magazine.

Realised that although met I Jim Callaghan and Harold Wilson at a post conference party in Cardiff, when I was a rebel without a cause instead of a rebel without my teeth, I don't have connections to Gordon Brown. Bang goes the idea of getting the British media on my side.

I wonder why Gerry and the British media keep reminding me of things I learned at infants school? The other day it was the "Spider and the Fly" today it's "Baa baa black sheep have you any wool? - yes sir, yes sir, three bags full".

Are we allowed to say, "black sheep" these days? I wouldn't want any officials knocking on my door telling me, "We don't mind if you leave your kids alone every night - just don't say 'black sheep' or we will be down on you like a ton of bricks".

Checked the International Relations news - especially now Portugal has taken up the EU Presidency.

Downloaded my emails. Phew - there is a depth of feeling out there - and information. Turned on the radio. Joe Cocker singing, "I'll get by with a little help from my friends". I thought "My God, the bugger's taunting me now!"

Thought I would take a family photo to post on my blog - one of those touchy-feely ones. Looked at my mother with curlers in her hair and stockings round her ankles - decided against it. I could get the lovely looking lady next door to stand in for her - but she's Chinese and people may notice. Only certain kinds of people believe the public are suckers.

Lots of things going on in my head. Lots of posts sticking their hands up trying to be heard. Do you ever have one of those days when trying to get your thoughts together is like trying to tune in to a particular station on an old radio? All the other stations seem to interfere with the reception.

Ah, now here is a song I like. Actually, I think it's on my blog.

"I won't be laughing at the lies when I'm gone, and I can't question how or when or why when I'm gone, can't live proud enough to die when I'm gone, so I guess I'll have to do it while I'm here
