During my late afternoon walk yesterday, I turned my head to the left and saw two ducks taking refuge from the still harsh sun.
Snuggled among mangroves near the edge of the bay, they sat quietly on a blue, shadowy mirror of water. The sun managed to find a way through the tangle of gnarled, black mangroves to add a touch of gold to the scene.
The scary thing is, I am beginning to recognise some of the ducks now and it wont be long before I start giving them names!
