Middle East Special: Saudi personalities sign statement supporting anti-Israeli resistance in Lebanon and Palestine

The Khaleej Times reports 74 Saudi personalities including eight women have signed a statement expressing support for the anti-Israeli resistance in Lebanon and the Palestinian territories.

The 74 include the former assistant under-secretary for planning, Dr Ismael Sajini, and retired colonel Ali al-Mustaneer, in addition to Saudi business people, artists and academics.

The statement condemns what it describes as Zionist aggression supported by the United States in plot with the international community and the United Nations. Deutsche Presse-Agentur dpa obtained the document through sources in Saudi Arabia.
