The Consulate General office of the Republic of Uzbekistan has begun operating in Shanghai, the Information Agency "Jahon" reported.This is the second diplomatic representation mission of Uzbekistan launched in the People's Republic of China. However, the level of relations grown between the two countries as much as growth of cooperation in many spheres have called for opening the Uzbek diplomatic mission in the largest city and economic hub of China.
From now on the registration of documents for the tourist and business travels to Uzbekistan shall significantly be eased for the Chinese east coast residents.
The Consulate General office in Shanghai is the 42nd diplomatic representation mission of Uzbekistan overseas.
