Bilateral Relations: Chavez's visit to Moscow to focus on expanding bilateral trade and economic cooperation

Russian Foreign ministry spokesman Mikhail Kamynin has said that expansion of bilateral trade and economic cooperation will be the focal point of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez's upcoming visit to Russia.

In answer to questions posted by journalists on the Foreign Ministry's website, he said "Special emphasis will be put on ways to promote trade and economic cooperation, whose potential is great but is not being used fully."

He also said that military-technical cooperation has been developing successfully as well.
