According to a study approved by the Council of State, China will reach a population of 1500 billion inhabitants in 2035.The study analysed the population tendencies and their relationship to the economy, development, and environment. According to researchers, once the population reaches a peak in the middle of the third decade of the current century, it will start gradually declining.
