Noora Al Mannai, has become the first Qatari woman to be appointed on the board of directors of a listed company. She has been appointed to the board of Dlala, as a representative of Amwal (formerly Qatar Ladies Investment Company).Dlala is a key stock brokerage firm that was set up recently at the initiative of the state and Amwal has a minority stake in it. Al Mannai is vice-president of business development and investor relations at Amwal.
MENA.FN quotes Al Mannai as saying, "I am very pleased to be appointed as a board member in Dlala, a company that has managed to grow in a record time and established itself as a leading brokerage company in the country".
