Pharmaceutical: Vietnam suspends use of child vaccine after child dies

Vietnam has temporarily banned Priorix, a popular measles, mumps and rubella vaccine following the death of a young child. Five others remain in hospital.

The six were among more than 100 children in a district of Ho Chi Minh City who were given the vaccine.

The vaccine is produced by GlaxoSmithKline.
