International Development: Nepalese NGO helps 54,000 households.

An official of The Poverty Alleviation Fund (PAF) of Nepal, has said the organisation has helped a total of 54,000 households during the one and half-years since it was established.

Raj Babu Shrestha, executive director of PAF said at a function, "The PAF served about 54,000 households to gain access to resources for their productive self-employment, encouraging them to undertake income generation activities and infrastructure development."

He was speaking at the opening session of a three-day workshop on "Experience Sharing for Future Programming" an event organized by PAF.
