Tonight's photo: Late afternoon in Lane Cove.Some mothers do 'ave them - and it appears at least one of them lives in the apartment next to me.
I live in a suburb where to maintain the "village" atmosphere, all buildings are restricted to two stories. I live in on the top floor of such an apartment block. In my part of the building, there are just four apartments - two up, two down.
This morning when I left my apartment, I immediately saw that there was a trail of white powder leading from the door of the girl next door, all the way down the stairs and out the door. When I say "trail" I should explain that every step had a large pile of this white powder.
However, as you can see from the photograph, she was aware of the problem. In case you can't read the note she left on the carpet, she explains "Will be cleaned this weekend - Apologise for inconvenience".Nice to know it will be cleaned this weekend. This accident happened on Wednesday night!
