Bangladesh, is to buy 16 fighter jets from China, in a deal worth $93.6 million.Hafizuddin Ahmed, the country's water resources minister and acting minister of defense, did not indicate what kind of planes were being bought but Lieutenant-Colonel Nazrul Islam, spokesman for the country’s armed forces, identified them as F-7 fighter jets.
