Women's Issues: Yemen hosts women's rights conference

The Yemen Observer, reports that Prime Minister Abdul-Qader Ba-Jammal, has opened the regional conference, "Women's Rights in the Arab World: From Words to Deeds".

The conference is organized by the Human Rights Ministry, in cooperation with United Nations Development Fund, the Dutch and French governments and the German development organization GTZ.

The event will focus on political participation, women in law and the development of women.
