Trade: Zambia seeks to enhance trade with U.S.

Zambia is seeking to further develop trade with the U.S. and believes that debt cancellation is not enough to promote wealth creation.

While receiving a letter of credence from the US Ambassador-Designate to Zambia, Carmen Martinez, Zambian President Levy Mwanawasa, also said that developed countries need to reduce trade barriers and subsidies that are hampering wealth creation in developing countries. He also sought her help in attracting American investors.
