International Development: Japan to spend $10 billion to aid world's least developed countries

Japan is to provide $10 billion over the next three years to help 49 of the world's least developed countries - and yes, they do have an acronym - LDCs.

Speaking at a press briefing, .Japanese Trade Minister Toshihiro Nikai, also announced programs to aid human resource training, technological aid and to provide "duty-free and quota-free" market access for nearly all products originating from LDCs .
