Tourism: Ethiopian NGO praised for helping rural communities fight against poverty

Ethiopian NGO TESFA (Tourism in Ethiopia for Sustainable Future Alternatives), has been praised at the World Travel Market in London, for it's work in helping to fight poverty. TESFA, has been assisting remote rural communities to set up rustic holiday cottages in the rugged highlands of Ethiopia.

The TESFA Foundation also provides early childhood education to underprivileged children in the country.
