International Development: World Bank grant for Rwanda

The World Bank Board is to give Rwanda an International Development Association (IDA) grant of $55-million to assist the country implement its reform program.The Second Poverty Reduction Support Grant (PRSG II) aims to help create a strong basis for private sector-led economic growth, driven by agricultural transformation, promotion of exports, and a deepening of reform in the financial sector.

Other priorities include education, health, water, energy and empowerment of local communities.
