Government: Myanmar moves capital city

Myanmar's information minister, Brigadier General Kyaw Hsan, has announced that the capital will be moved from Yangon to Pyinmana.

The Brigadier said circumstances have changed and the country is trying to develop a more modern nation with a centrally located government. Brigadier - it will take a lot more than moving your capital city to make Myanmar a modern nation!

For those of us who learned geography before everyone started messing around with names,Yangon was previously known as Rangoon.
