Family: Malaysian state to hold lullaby contest for wives

I have no idea what this has to do with business but it somehow appealed to me.

The Islamic government of the north-eastern state of Kelantan in Malaysia, is holding lullaby contest for wives singing their husbands to sleep.

State chief minister Nik Aziz Nik Mat said the contest was in line with singing allowed by Islam and will strengthen family ties,

"This is important. For example, a husband returns home tired and when the wife sings to him, he can sleep soundly."

The contestants will be required to dress decently and sing songs suitable for the public. Rats - that's ruled out my image of a hubbie coming home tired and shagged out after a hard day at the office, to be greeted by his wife singing Madonna's, "Hanky Panky."

Hang on a second - this is my blog - I will reclaim that image!
