Yes I know it's a bit crude but you should have heard what else I have been saying today!Currently I am only able to use my own PC for short periods before being booted from the Windows operating system.
During the next few days, I will:
(1) Keep going with a "make-do" solution on my current PC, even though it feels as if I am flying in an old plane held together by bits of string and duct tape.
(2) Purchasing and transferring data to a new PC.
If you are a client of the information monitoring and analysis service, you should have already received an email advising you that back up systems have been put in place via the US and UK. There should be little or no disruption to service.
Alternative arrangements have also been made for online consultancies to continue with minimum disruption.
Until the situation is back to normal I don't feel it is appropriate to accept new clients although I will be happy to answer any questions.
As for the blog, I will aim for a minimum of two posts per day, (instead of the normal 10-14) though at this stage "i On Global Trends" will have lower priority.
Oh yes. In case you are wondering what my "make do" solution is - I'm not going to tell you! If I did, all the tech people will think I am stark raving bonkers - but so far it's kept me "live" longer than anything else I have tried!
