Entertainment: China to release "100 Chinese Heroes," online gaming series

Shanda Interactive Entertainment, China's largest online gaming company, has unveiled a new series of online games designed to teach gamers, especially students, about Chinese national heroes.

The "Zhonghua Yingxiongpu (100 Chinese Heroes), will have 100 online game titles, each based on the lives of a separate hero.

The first five games of the series are scheduled to start in late 2005 and it is expected to take ten years to launch all 100 games in the series.

I wonder which heroes other countries would choose if they were to release a similar series?
