Retail: Shock, Horror - RFID poses threat to High Street!

In another headlining making scare campaign by so called experts, it is alleged that the increasing use of RFID technology (Radio Frequency IDentification) will lead to the demise of High Street sales, as stock management is improved and wastage reduced.

Considering that during the last couple of weeks, the 1950s corporate theme park better known as the British Retail industry, have been blaming everything under the sun for falling sales, retailers would be foolish to ignore or discard traditional revenue earners such as sales.

It seems hardly a month goes by without someone warning of a potential threat to the British High Street.
